oooooohhhhhhhh, never been to a festival, I'll give it a go though:
Friday: Kings of leon, Babyshambles (idealy Libertines, but won't happen), La's (original lineup), Ian Brown, Arctic Monkeys.
Saturday: The Courteeners, Beatles (yes, bring them back from the grave), U2, Elbow, Stone Roses reunion, The Who.
Sunday: Muse, Morrissey, Blur, Foo Fighters, Manics.
I put 6 on Saturday rather than 5 in case the Beatles reunion doesn't pay off, not sure if Lennon or Harrison are avaliable. Sunday looks good though.

I am going to stick with artists who are alive and if the band are not together, bands that have a high chance of reforming. Something quite realistic.
FRIDAY - Roots Manuva-----The Coral------The Cribs-----Faithless---------Courteeners
For the Friday, a mixture of the best of British. I think that gives you a variety.
SATURDAY - Editors------Kings Of Leon-----Queens of the Stone Age--------Babyshambles-----Strokes
For the sat I was trying to go with all American. I oringally had Queens of the Stone age, Arcade fire, The national and Interpol but I have scrapped that idea. I was reluctant to put Babyshambles in there but I opted for them at short notice. I also put Editors in as I think they have good tunes for the big stage.
SUNDAY - Kasabian------Elbow------Blur------Oasis-----Arctic Monkeys
Sunday is all about the English big hitters!

Friday - The Libertines - Cooper Temple Clause - Foals - Oasis - The Cribs - The Smiths
Saturday - Stone Roses - Kings Of Leon - The Strokes - Kasabian - Arctic Monkeys - Editors
Sunday - The Courteeners (got to put them in!) - The Subways - The Clash - Manics - The Jam - 'Shambles (yes as well as Libertines!)
I'd have to go for Saturday as the best day , Sunday might look a bit light on headliners but The Jam/Clash and Manics shore it up and got to love having Gallaghers, Jarmans and Morrissey on the same bill on the Friday.
