Well yes it is a bit - but facebook stalking is fun...finding out gossip by reading ppls conversations looking a peoples pics. Obviously it's not as good as here!

Sorry but I've always detested things like facebook and myspace. Credit to the people who have deicated to much to them and God bless them for putting in the effort but in my god honest opinion I reckon that they just go completely against the word socialising. I've always thought that being social meant going out to the pub and stuff like that seing your mates in person. I have never joined either and never ever plan to.

Hmmm...well I like it...I got back in touch with my best friend from school hadn't seen her in ten years and I've been to stay with her about 4 times in last few months - if it wasn't for facebook we would never have got in touch....unless I went on Suprise suprise or summert.......

I know what you mean about those social networks - I tried to get into facebook but I can't see what it can offer for S&C really?? After registering and that I couldn't really put any different content from the forum, so I haven't really touched it. I don't mind myspace though, as it does a whole lot more than just social stuff, it's the one I use the most anyway. So like someone (?) said I mainly just come on here

I too have facebook, for me its quite important as i do freelance work and get a lot of job notifications through it as well as keeping in touch with old work mates who can get me more work. Or if i need to contact someone about work, it is easy to find them through facebook. Makes my life easier anyways. Facebook is pretty boring though. Girls seem to take facebook to new levels of obsession. The amount of phot albums some girls I am friends with have on their is beyond belief. It is like they use ot for a diary. Bit sad really.

Work in TV. So as I am moving from company to company all the time it is so vital to keep in touch with people. This is by far the best way.
Turned down the chance to work on The Green Room. would have met the lads had worked on that. bit gutted.

Wow TV, sound really cool - what exactly does it involve? If you don't mind me asking Sorry, I'M moving away from the thread subject! Erm... yeah nearly a year of S&C, I thinking of a S&C birthday card or something?? Shame it wasn't nearer Christmas as it could've been all-in-one

I dont mind at all Darren. Im still a runner unfortunately. So can be anything from making tea all the way to shooting (not guns obviously, using the camera to film) so it is very varied. Hopefully moving up to researcher soon. Been running for 18 months now since finishing uni. Trust me, its no way as glamerous and cool as everyone thinks. I havnt had a job so far where I havnt worked over 55 hours a week. Ridiculous. Just could never have an office job so might as well put my degree to practise. Still holding out to one day be a rock n roll star in my dreams.

We all have to start somewhere, as they say, but I suppose it only applies if the person is prepared to put the work in and further themselves. Keep it up mate and keep us posted on anything to do (I know I'll be interested to hear) you just never know when something will happen
