I like it cause it reminds me of Manchester, takes them back to their roots and it reflects the band

Yeah, I proper didn't like the last video, NNF was okay, and WTYSL was a mint video, this is as good a video as WTYSL I reckon. And aye, back to their roots! I still wish they'd released Bide Your Time....Blur Girls and Boys style video  |

Acrylic is my fav video as well. I always love video's where you get to see the band backstage, being themselves and not trying to act in a video which normally turns out badly.
When bands are in their own videos it often does tend to be the same old thing, and restrics the vid. Arctic Monkeys set the bar higher with their video's getting real actors in them and not always appearing in the video's, perhaps just making lil cameo appearances.

You can easily make a good vid on a cheap budget, think about the Acrylic video, that's proper that is.

That's another thing that's annoyed me about the vid, only Liam being in it, I reckon he fancies himself as a bit of an actor, but a little to much self indulgence only having him in the video.

That might be down to the director, and the other lads might not have been arsed!!

someone said on Youtube it was done on a real tight budget. i think they did a great job. not over the top. works really well

I like videos that detach themseves completely from the song. Something with real imagination. Imagination doesnt require a big budget. I think the video is a bit boring to be honest. Follows the blueprint of the song, so fair enough, but I would have liked something more.

I doubt it was Liam's choice for only him to be in the video, but i know what you mean, it irritates me slightly that sometimes it seems like its all about Liam and the others dont get a look in. |
