Soccer AM is quite possibly the worst show on television. Its epitomises everything thats wrong with football nowadays. I never really thought about it like that.......intresting?? I think they have some good guest on there and theres some bits that are funny........oh yeah and THAT goal Serge scored was Colossal!!!!! I''m intrested Irlam, why do you think its so wrong?? |

It's mainly a program for the beer toting, "easeh" singing, merchandise buying, 'bling bling' players loving, jump on the bandwagon of the next big team football 'fan'!!
Pisses me off a lot, but it can be good as it does give a lot of new bands some time in the spotlight and an extra way to get heard!
One of my friends got into the Courteeners after seeing them on Soccer AM!

Getting the day of work defo, gonna have to look ill when I go in tommorow so I can ring on Sat morning, don't think I'm staying off just for soccer am, Liverpool v United at 1:00 and I don't finish until 3 so I'm not missing that.

Its not what it used to be, had it's time and just not the same anymore (and thats not just because Lovejoy aint there anymore) Fenners and Sheep Head left at the same time. those 3 were the only real funny ones on there. You have tubes question but that is it really. The only thing I consider watching soccer am for nowadays is either a certain guest, i.e courteeners this weekend, cross bar challenge, skill school, showboat, tubes question and my life in football at the end. But most of that comes in the last 25 mins anyways. Iv not watched it this season. Rubbish. |

Watched the interview before I went out for the football, didn't say much to be honest, they sad that bands who take 5 years with an album are lazy and was saying how good the label are with acts like them and Duffy.

totally agree with the sentiments expressed about soccer am. i used to watch it religiously every saturday, but towards the end of lovejoy's tenure, it became repetetive and almost self-glorifying. Some bit are still mint, like tubes, skill skool, etc, etc, but it's had its day unfortunately =/
