Correction, you can and will f**k**g wait for it and there are many new albums coming out to get excited about Oh yeh, now you mention it, new Kings of Leon Album, shouldn't have forgot that, I've got the other 3 so I don't know why it slipped my mind, it should be great. Unfortunately I have a bad feeling that this new U2 album will overshadow anything else that comes out, no offense U2 but you won't match up to Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby (which by the way are 2 of my all time faves). Sorry Bono!

Sorry Bono! U2 Couldn't over shadow a ant's ball now, there past it. Bono's to busy sticking his nose in other affair's..... Brian fucking Eno producing again, what a great departure this album will be then!! There boring and as old as my mum and dad. The Kings Of Leon will piss all over there 2 bit offering so will Oasis and more than likely Glasvegas who I'm not a big fan of. The sooner middle age people are stopped from buying music the sooner we get rid of U2 and fucking Coldplay...Horrible Horrible drivel!!!

Correct Mr Park. Every U2 album since Achtung Baby has done the exact same thing. They create big furore amongst the happy clappy public, because the first two singles are good, then the album sells a lot, they do another collosal tour, sells out, happy clappy public kept firmly happy, they go away with their millions and everyone forgets about what it was they did with the last record again, until the next one comes out. They've got to the Rolling Stones stage in their career, something which will probably come to Oasis soon but they're avoiding it quite well. Bands like U2 cant overshadow anyone anymore, they're too big to cast a shadow if you get me, when Arctic Monkeys debut came out it overshadowed music for a while, as did the Libertines debut, and probably albums like Definately Maybe, Morning Glory, The Stone Roses, Never Mind the Bollocks, Sergeant Pepper, "the classics" like. They're the ones that can bring music to a standstill. Not U2, as great as they are (well, were) And sorry if you feel I'm picking on you again You're a La's and a Courteeners fan and for that I respect you!

fastfuse, you are just about spot on, I think that U2 should have stopped after Actung Baby because everything they are making is past there time, they are past masters but IMO have ran out of ideas, oh and the whole Coldplay thing, I FUCKING HATE COLDPLAY! HOW THE f*ck DID THEY GET WHERE THEY ARE NOW WITH THE OVERATED TRIPE THAT THEY ARE MAKING!!!

fHOW THE f**k DID THEY GET WHERE THEY ARE NOW WITH THE OVERATED TRIPE THAT THEY ARE MAKING!!! God knows, its a good question. Its easy to get big when you sell your morals to making big stadium anthems with nothing to them. Sadly.

Another thing that gets me about bands like Coldplay, and no offense so anyone else like this, but they had one hell of alot of support in a financial sense and got a huge kick start in terms of education which in my opinion can account partly for they're success, and with such support it can downgrade how much natural talent an artist/ singer/ composer has, and it shows that they haven't had to work as hard as poeple like The Courteeners, and Oasis who grew up in slightly deprived backgrounds and have done what they have done purely on natural ability.

Dunno about that, you could be right but i do know coldplay got signed at uni but did nothing until they finished there degrees. But if what your saying is true you cant blame coldplay, record executives are most likely shit scared of Manchester because 98% of them are posh cockney idiots..

THEY ARE NOW WITH THE OVERATED TRIPE THAT THEY ARE MAKING!!! this is probably a bad place to be saying this but i often think the same about oasis. n i can imagine fast fuse thinking im not such a good man anymore i think its a shame that you listen to their new track, "shock of the lightning" and think, this track would have been right at home on "definitely maybe". it shows they havent evolved much as a band, like for example, "favourite worst nightmare" in contrast to "whatever people say..." is a big difference. although read a noel interview n he says the new album is very different and im open to change my mind =)

I love the first 2 albums and always will but I just don't like them anymore because they haven't changed, you are right about Arctic Monkeys albums, the first is so much heavier and is my favourite but you can tell when listening that the second has had alot more thought put into it and they were very careful not to replicate the first, and they did it very well. Anyway, how on earth has this thread about That Kiss ended up talking about Kasabian, U2, and Oasis??
