according to nme (b*astards) the band played a song called 'velocity' at t in the park. never heard of it before (associated with courteeners anyway) unless they decided to wap out a maximo park cover for the occasion  set list: 'Aftershow' 'Cavorting' 'Velocity' 'Please Don't' 'Bide Your Time' 'Fallowfield Hillbilly' 'No You Didn't, No You Don't' 'Yesterday, Today & Probably Tomorrow' 'Not Nineteen Forever' 'What Took You So Long?' www.nme.com/news/the-courteeners/38062kokaine kim not making it on to any festival set lists either, sad news  oh well, anyone know anything about velocity? |

like you said, unless its a maximo park cover i've never heard anything about it. and yh, dead shame about kokaine kim =/ what a tune
i was lucky enough about 15mins ago to catch some of the courteeners at TinthePark on the red button. They showed acrylic, cavorting, fallowfield, then NYDNYD. Looked on top form as usual. Liam in shades and wearing a parker and adding the lyric "with a parker coat" in to acrylic. classic xD And randomly asking "anyone here been to manchester!?"
strange though, on red button they seemed to be showing one song per band and then switching. there i was watching wombats and then the courteeners come on with acrylic. so i thoughthat would be it. but then they played 3 more aswell. not complaining!

Yeh I caught the red button stuff earlier aswell. Was also pleasantly suprised when they showed 4 tunes but then quickly became greedy and wished they'd shown more. Seemed to be a good atmosphere - especially for Acrylic. Liam on top form as usual. Watching it made me more excited for V!!
NME.com appeared to confuse Acrylic with 'Velocity'. I think they've changed it now. Idiots.
