liam seemed well surprised that the odd person knew revolver, tellin us to stop illegally downloading! haha! requesting revolver just had to be done, it was my duty! Careful there! Claiming you requested it, people might think you're me haha! Coz I was the one who requested it and I didnt hear anyone else shouting it! 'how the f*ck do you know about that?' Fray said haha. He was also amazed when I handed him a promo CD of what took you so long =] I was on my own and last in the queue but they were really great after signing stuff for a whole 2 hours

Personally, i think they should re-release "Cavorting" as the next single. It's definitely their best song and deserves a run at the charts. It really should have been released instead of NYDNYD, thought that was a poor choice of single.

I was really thinking Bide Your Time or perhaps If It Wasn't For Me, after all, there were rumours of that being debut single as oppose to Cavorting, but held it back for a later release. Who knows like, but I'm always dubious of re-releases

I personally don't like it when bands re-release singles but it's more down to the labels looking for more cash... ...and maybe it would have been done by now if a re-release was going to happen I can't wait for the new EP though

Let's keep it to a 1000 copies for us collectors, I wouldn't like my prized CD & 7" more readily available You should have got in there first Seriously though, I think the band are going about it the right way, look how many bands (labels) sell out for more money, they moan amount singles not making them money but release the 3 formats for £3, what do they expect? I know the singles market is nowhere near as popular as 5, 10, 15 years ago but I didn't mind paying £3.99/4.99 for each format if I liked the band, sometimes it would cost over 12 quid to get all the formats!

I think it's good that they are releasing Revolver. It's not good to milk out an album. 5 singles (if you count the original cavorting single) is enough in my opinion. It's good that they're coming with "new" material. That, and Revolver is a great song.

i agree amber, and if anything i think 5 singles off an album is a bit much. I'm dead excited about revolver as it's a brilliant, but unfotunately the only version of it that i have is a "Live for Channel M" recording, and i get the feeling the song could be alot better.
oh and btw, a tad off topic, but does anyone else think that the cover of I'm Sticking With You is a little cringing and embarrassing? That's my opinion, what do you think =S ?

Really like the James cover. It's amazing really. I'm Sticking With You... hmm don't know. It's hard song to cover indeed.

was a top evening, me and wrighty went down without wristbands and ended up gettin in the guestlist! no queues or anything! top notch! il make out a rough setlist, mite not be in decent order tho. smiths disco revolver acrylic kings of the new road why do you do it how come please don't new romantic (laura marling) yesterday, today nineteen nydnyd fallowfield slow down cavorting wtysl i think that was it, he was on for around an hour. then all the band were there for the signing bit of it. he had a setlist, but didnt stick to it, i requested revolver, then he had a laugh about people downloading his early tunes! liam ripped the nme after nydnyd, by saying 'what do u rate that song? i give it a 3 out of 10' then he also slipped in a comment about piccadily records, after they made comments about the band. he just stopped during fallowfield, after the carnage at the back of piccadily bit, and said sumat like 'dont go there, theyre tw*ts' or sumat along those lines! bit of a strange croud, didnt recognise anybody there which was unusual, was mainly 16-19 year olds. not many people knew the majority of songs. was overall tho, a good do. Conrad, one of the bands people, got us in under the name gary lager! classic! Haha wonder what Piccadilly have done? They are a bit up there own arse though Revolver is a tune, can't wait for any new stuff!
