If we all work as a team, all input ideas and the like, im sure we could come up with a class letter to send to the magazine and it may even make the letter page They will probably just reply with some kind of stupid remark, which has nothing to do with the later, but it would be ace nontheless... Yes?

Yeah, they don't like it when it's coming back at 'em! Just a stupid comment - great comebacks from the No Musicial Endeavor Fergal & Ste could be onto something, maybe you lot could get a letter together and I'll send it as a letter from the members of S&C. Just so we see if we are proved wrong about their approach to criticism! Something else is needed to be done though, I mean on a much larger scale, the NME has to pay, Melody Maker was always the 'indie' paper and much better anyway, until the battle was won by the controllers of many bands destinies We'll have to get thinking and could really start a revolt against the paper come glossy magazine that we no longer need or require to find out about bands. Who really listens to their false opinions ? I know I like bands based on their songs and wouldn't let the holy shite the NME print sway my decisions

This is a bit of a rough guide me and Ste have made, ready to be edited at n that cos its very long and unkempt around its somewhat articulate edges.
Dear NME, your contradiction on the Courteeners has baffled us lot on the Courteeners forum, in specific regards to your review of their new single "No You Didn't, No You Don't". This song was initially the b-side to Cavorting, and in this review you described it as .........(INSERT QUOTE HERE).........., then later on down the line when it was on the album you described it as ............(INSERT QUOTE HERE)......but now its a single you slate it and call it ........(INSERT QUOTE HERE)........and that the Liam Fray you once hailed as .......(INSERT QUOTE HERE).......is now merely a .........(INSERT QUOTE HERE). Do you feel the need to slate bands out of jelousy, because you lot are failed musicians turned reviewer? Why are you so blinded by your alledged awareness and self imposed responsibility to follow and preach all that is cool and trendy for the small period in with which it is cool and trendy? What band has done what the Courteeners have done in recent times, other than the Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines and a few others. Selling out Academy 1 without an album out, only a few singles, and two nights at Apollo selling very well on the strength of one album? And this is 3 out of 10 material is it not? What about your review of the album and your front page interview? And the countless comparisons to the nearest geographical band, Oasis. Lazy journalism. A similar contradiction of stupidity occured back with Oasis and all, WTSMG recieved a minimal 6 out of 10, then was placed in numerous of your top 100 album polls. Be Here Now, was ranked at 9 out of 10 and then placed in the worst album lists. We at the Snorting and Cavorting forum will stand heartily suprised if you even print this letter, because why would the Gospel according to Tim Jonze and his merry men want to have their contradictions and childlike schoolgirl bitchyness exposed to fickle readers? What is going on NME, no wonder Morrissey turned his back on you. Yours Sincerely, The Snorting and Cavorting Forum Community.
