Well....I'm off to pack for Leeds fest as plan to be there for 1.30pm sharp for the gates opening at 2pm...I'm full of cold from getting soaked a V but I'm sure I'll survive! Hope everyone has a fab bank hol and please pray it doesn't rain too much!!!

I thougt I would come back after my tuesday day of rest and find the forum buzzing about leeds fest???
All I can say is it was the BEST - the mud was like glasto for the first few days - our tent leaked our gazabo was broken along with the CD players despite all of that we had the best time!
Band of the weekend goes to the Cribs for me!!!
They blew me away - seen em once before but this was amazing! They blew the speaker at one point and rather than ppl booing they just started singing louder. My mate em was undecided on them - she is well and truely sold now!! haha!
Friday we got totally wrecked and didn't go to bed thought we could power through on saturday but failed after Vampire weekend - pulled it back for a full day on sunday.
Great atmosphere beats V hands down - no sniffer dogs or massive signs reading 'crowd surfers will be ejected' - just everyone having fun!!! Loved it - only 364 day till Wedneday 26th August 2009 to do it all again!!!!

The Cribs were the best...did anybody see an inflatable giraffe????I may just have been the culprit of that which was right at the front for the Cribs!
It was well popular tho I got jumped on and mildly molestered by 6 guys for that giraffe and when we bumoed into glavegas James decided to draw a beard and fangs on poor jenny!
Miles Kane even spoke to her when he was onstage cause I was bowing her at The Rascals and he shouted 'oi mate, there's no need for that' hahaha
