Aye, I'm very sorry to hear this really. Its a bit stupid, I wouldn't have been to fussed a year or two ago when he was proper bad on heroin, but he's been clean for a while now, making quality progress, and it must be bad for him now to have to go back into jail. I suppose there was always going to be consequences to what happened, but like the worst place for a former junkie is jail

How long could he go on getting away with it. He cant be that arsed about staying out of nick, all he had to do was stay off the brown!!
He will sell more records in prison than if he was out. He's a talented guy but he's (like the song says) a fucking waster. I'm bored of him and I think that in 10 years all he's going to be remembered for is screwing Kate Moss and Heroin!!! The sooner he realizes that the sooner he can start to change it!!

"All he had to do was stay off the brown" You make it sound easy (I am not talking from personal experience i hasten to add!), however drug addiction is an illness, and a very hard one to overcome particularly in the case of heroin.
He will always be remembered by those that appreciate him for The Libertines and Babyshambles. The media has unfairly and unjustly hounded and labelled him, doing everything within their power to villify a truly articulate musician, poet and genius. Yes he takes heroin, yes he has made mistakes but as an industry the media serves to try and ruin peoples lifes Pete Doherty is just one example of this. The Sun, The Daily Star, The Mirror, The News Of The World are not newspapers they are cartoons for yobs.

The Sun, The Daily Star, The Mirror, The News Of The World are not newspapers they are cartoons for yobs. He knows he's being watched like a hawk...but yet he still chooses to act like a thingy. I agree the press in this country are over the top. Just because he can pen a nifty ditty doesn't mean he's any different than anyone else. I'm glad he's been sent down and I hope someone uses him as a little there 'bitch' But I doubt anyone in Pentonville nick would touch a 'user' with dirty f**k**g hands!!!! These young boys and girls who look up too him need to see the damage smack does and the effect it will have on your life as well as the consequences. I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE, IF YOU TRY SMACK YOUR A KUNT OF THE LOWEST ORDER. There's enough press coverage to let you know whats going to happen to you. He should be thankfully of his position how ever talented he is. Fucking people leaving 'Get Well' messages for him on nme.com last year.. 'Get Well Petexxx' f*ck OFF. What about his mum and family, send them a fucking card!!! He doesn't care about them or anyone else. If he fall of the world tomorrow I wouldn't give a flying f*ck. Tax payers money being used to get the smack heads straight, what about the young people of this country dying of cancer, leukemia and other life threating diseases??? They have no choice about there body's having to put up with all the abuse.....HE DOES!!! Campbell, Sorry your wrong I think the press have labeled him correctly this time!!

he's very talented but his talent shouldn't be seen as (quite literally) a 'get out of jail free card' - he's had more than enough chances and deserves to do time. it's as simple as that. he should have been locked up before now to be honest.

never really had too much of an opinion on the whole pete doherty thing, but tbh even i'm getting bored of reading headlines about him screwing himself over.

I thought he was sorting himself out, I was really pleased when he got the Albert Hall gig, it must have been a huge boost but obviously not enough
So is this his 3rd sail sentence?
