im up for getting an official complaint goin, get the courteeners emailed. We are the actual fans, cant be avin a load of unknowns gettin in on the act. im sure liam would agree, but unfortunately this time, it seems out of the bands control.

Erm...who's to say the people who've been picked aren't 'real fans'? This isn't actually an 'official forum' is it? True, but some of, if not most of, if not all of, the most dedicated fans are on this forum, it'd be good play on the bands part to reward that level of dedication really, i dont know, it'd just be good karma sort of, a good thing to do |

the official forum is an absolute joke, i dont think anyone posts on there anymore. theres only like 5 threads, its stuff like 'how old is liam fray' and 'acrylic is my favourite song'
waste of a website!

yeh suppose, but the majority of dedicated just happen to go on this forum. i still think they should av chose us lot tho. As you can almost guarantee that the people on this forum have more of a genuine interest in the band than the attractive people at this video job.

You have no idea what they were looking for or how many people applied compared to how many people regularly post on here... god, I'm a 'proper fan' of a lot of bands, but I've never posted on a forum before - that certainly doesn't mean I'm any less of a fan than people who do! And are you lot dead ugly or something? :-) People certainly seem to have an 'ugly complex' on here anyway, keep going on about the 'attractive people' they've picked for this video! I do wish I wasn't stuck in work and I'd been able to apply for this anyway cos I do hope I'm not an ugly bird!
It could be a video of fat ugly mingers anyway. Who knows!

I love how people are assuming they only picked 'attractive people', yet no-one has a clue actually who has been picked, just that so far, no-one on the forum has. & i honestly doubt the lads would listen to an email from anyone complaining they didn't get picked, the first music video they filmed gave all the fans a chance to be in it, all you had to do was show up. Ohhh, & as for it only being attractive people, the video is a circus theme apparently, with most people going to be in costume/make-up anyway. |

Hmm...I guess they probably picked ppl according to height and build if they getting dressed up - I'm guessing courteeners wouldn't really have a video full of 'beautiful' ppl anyway....but doesn't look like many ppl have even been picked...and they sent out info in the e-newsletter....

Bit of inside info for you lot, i got selected for the video and apparently its going to be a circus theme. There is also going to be a gig at the end of it for everyone whos included ;D when i find out the venue I will let everyone know, if you fancy trying to get in or whatever. Secondly, I totally agree that more proper fans should be allowed in the video. I'm well into double figures now with the amount of times i've seen courteeners, and nothing will piss me off more than to see a load of giddy scenester girls ironically screaming the words to acrylic tomorrow. Shes been to every courteeners show with me except for 2 and i feel she deserves something.... Ill get really annoyed if the videos just focusing on scene queens. circus theme sounds interesting.... i just wish i knew where im supposed to be making me way to tomorrow morning! xo |

Yeh i'm still waiting for an email with the details and stuff. Got the call on Saturday. I personally think the lads might have had something to do with the selection, i'm going to find out tomorrow. Me & one of my best mates both got picked, wouldn't have bothered me going alone. Should be a fun day, just gutted im going to miss the match  |
