Just got back now, that was collosal. Had a great night, they were on the usual great form and evidently incredibly humbled by the size of the venue and devotion of the fans. Everyone were having a great time, proper celebration of the album
And whats more, just before What took you so long, liam said "this one's for cal roberts" haha! our very own forum celebrity

there were a fair bit of sound problems in the first three tunes, just after kocaine kim the PA started to crackle loads, they began to do How Come and it all got proper messy. Several mics were changed and mixing desks throttled and it ended up alright in the end but you could tell they were pretty annoyed by it cos during Acrylic the sound was all over the show

I'm of to see them tonight. I hope the sounds sorted! Fucking buzz your tit's off after that cal or what? I would be! Just hope there still up for it tonight after there home town gig?

it was the f**k**g best night ever, despite the sound issues! atmosphere was absolutely electric, i was right at the front getting squished against the barrier haha. Couldn't believe the "Cal Roberts" tribute, Liam went through a long list of people that have been there from the start before saying it as well! Haha hero. We saw the tourbus leaving the academy at 3am whilst staggering back to the car from 42s, presumably lads had been out on the town but they'll be fresh i'm sure  |

Sooooooooo glad I couldn't go to newcastle and ended up going to Manchester it was the best gig EVA! took my housemate who had never been to a gig before and she loved it! Booked tickets for Newcastle on friday but just got them for manchester as well....
Well done on the mention - oh I wonder if Liam reads this!!
Afterwards when we walking to 42s gt talking to these lads one of them from middleton said he's met courteeners and they all nice but liam is a tw*t - I put him rite...tosser...and walked back to hotel at 4am this morning singing What took you so long at the top of my voice!
