and i dont really care what the lyrics mean, just aslong as the musics good. I highly disagree with this.... if the lyrics aren't up to shit then I won't like the song. Songs are more than just about good music. Good lyrics are VERY important.

Disagree with you again Conor mate. You have to have good lyrics, surely lyrics are just as important as the music. Take a beatles song, like 'Savoy Truffle', that has a great melody and is really catchy, but wtf is going on with the lyrics? They are crap. Nah, lyrics have to be good, whether you understand them or not, they have to be as good as the music.

hmmm i suppose, liams lyrics are great, but unless you understand some of them, it is hard to write a good song i suppose. like me with my poetry xD

I agree. The lyrics are almost more important than the songs. I read some Courteeners lyrics before I heard their music. It was on an advert somewhere. Just a contiuous prose of their lyrics. At the time I had no idea that they were lyrics to their songs. But the words moved me, so I went out and bought the album on it's release date. And I've not looked back since! Definitely one of my best risk buys ever!

It was a risk buy, I nearly didn't buy it because when I first got the torrent of it I wasn't 100%, and NNF didn't strike me at first for some wierd reason, but glad it payed off

Yeah 21 sorry. For me the album wasn't a risk buy the What Took You So Long single was. I was just in HMV and had a spare 2 quid from whatever else I was buying and bought it, and it went from there.

chapter 21 is a reference to 'a clockwork orange' if anyones read it
chapter 21 in the book is when he looks back and regrets the things hes done, meaning regretting not putting acrylic on the album (or possibly regretting the medias misinterpretation of the song leading to it not being on the album 'officially'?)
