No posting until tomorrow morning, once we have each got the album by whichever ways and means we see neccessary. This is the thread in which one posts their first thoughts and musings on the album and generally discusses it once/during listening, you know, so its all collected n that, be interesting to have a read of these thoughts once its gone on and sold several million copies.... see you tomorrow morning all

Well my copy arrived bright and early!....around10.30ish :S (its about midday now, i think the clock on the forum is wrong) I've listened through it once and was very impressed overall. Loving Aftershow and Please Don't =D Obviously its all different to the tracks i already have, excpet WTYSL and NNF and Acrylic, and tbh I'm not conviced atm that i prefer them all. I reckon they'll grow on me though, i've only listened to the album once through afterall Absolutely chuffed to bits that Acrylic made it, albeit as a 'hidden track'. Its track 21 if anybody's having trouble getting to it ! Role on St Jude Platinum Edition! by the way, did anyone here make it to the free gig at HMV last night? I was gonna go, but it woulda bin hard to get home, mets stop at like 12.30 or something, plus i had too much AS stuff to be doing and couldn't afford to be mooching round picadillly from 11am till midnight =(

just got in from town sounds mega - love the new version of cavorting and if it wasn't for me bit wierd that they have left tracks 13-20 with nothing on them and stuck acrylic as "chapter 21" I only bought the normal version for 8.99 from HMV as all of the bonus songs on the 2CD are on here come the young men bravo chaps - a number one album i'm sure

err first off - why are you dissapointed? and secondly they sing they fucking do my head live anyways - and thirdly, on the demo version it didn't have it on so i assume thats what you have heard to be honest a lot of the songs lyrics (only minor ones) have been changed when they sing live luvin' this album

got the 8.36 train into town this morning! got St Jude from woolworths for a brilliant price of £8.97, quite a few copies seemed to be shifting across Blackburn and all. Got home, listened to it, absoloutely love it actually. its brilliant, proper compliments the songs, there are some bits that take a bit of getting used to but overall its fantastic, bide your time in particular. aftershow is proper eerie and atmospheric, its class, it veers off towards sounding like harry potter at one point or maybe thats just me haha. fallowfield n if it wasnt for me are as they should be n all. its class, one of those albums already
well done lads

mine came this morning from hmv i absolutely love it to bits! it's taken me a few listens mind you, i don't think they're worse than the demos, just different and will have a much broader appeal. love the way they're "hidden" acrylic haha, pretty funny considering all the gay NME headlines. well done lads, you've done everyone proud!

i don't think they're worse than the demos, just different and will have a much broader appeal. yh that's dead right tbh, will take a bit of getting used to. the album tracks are more...whats the term....full on? lessn jingly guitars, which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing...
