Empress Ballroom was an amazing place, got right down the front. Hopefully they'll do it again. Gonna throw another question to everyone while I'm thinking about it.....
What Gig Next? Keep it realistic but where would you like to see the band play either over the next 6 months or once they tour the next album. In Manchester I'd like to see them go back to Apollo or the GMEX or if the album did really well then maybe a one off gig at the Reebok Stadium.

First gig - Supporting the Coral at Manchester Academy. You could tell alot of people were there solely for the Courteeneers and although the Coral did outshine them on the night, this led me to buy tickets for their Club 53 Degrees show a few months later and it went from there.
Best Gig - Manchester Academy 1, returning to headline it. Felt lucky to get tickets and like something special was happening with the band. They played Yesterday, Today which is brilliant. The crowds were still brilliant at this point.
Number of gigs - errrrr Coral, Club 53, Academy, 53 degrees, GMEX and Blackburn. 6

First gig - Warrington Parr Hall Best gig - Liverpool Uni or MEN Number of gigs - 9 (Parr Hall, GMEX, Liverpool Uni, Blackpool, V, Leicester, MEN, Wigan, Delamere)
Just gutted I've only been to gigs from the Falcon era. Missed out on so many St. Jude tours due to being too young to comprehend going on my own/not being able to persuade parents to take me. Oh well, hopefully there'll be many more to come.

First gig - Blackburn Cellar Bar September 2007, a cold and remarkably dry night, outdoor in the courtyard of the bar, absoloutely packed out. A few weeks before the release of Acrylic I think, there was just such a buzz of knowing you were seeing something special.
Best gig - There are numerous which I could say BUT I have to go for: Liverpool Academy March 2009 (the second night), their first gigs for a few months and warm-ups for the Tour of Refusal with Moz, debuted new songs such as 'Sycophant' and 'Good Times Are Calling', they were just absoloutely on fire, the crowd were electric, everyone was completely buzzing.
How Many Gigs? - 32 for myself, honourable mentions go to both 53 Degrees gigs, every Leeds gig, Camden Roundhouse, Ruby Lounge Christmas 2007, the list goes on! Made so many great days and nights out of it over the last few years it's astounding to believe. Dishonourable mention does, however, go to coming out of York Fibbers soaking wet and blind from the paint fumes!

First Gig - Shepherds Bush Empire, October 2008: Cracking night, had to travel up on my own due to a mate pulling out last minute but ended up spending the whole gig (and having a few beers) with these lads I met at the tube station by pure coincedence (we were all asking the same copper for directions to the venue). Twisted Wheel as support was a treat as well.
Best Gig - Haigh Hall: Travelled up and spent the night in Wigan, seeing them play an outdoor gig, hearing some new tunes, a Strokes cover and the return of tunes like That Kiss, Smiths Disco and Kimberly made for a fuckin' top night.
How Many Gigs - 7 (Shepherds Bush Empire, NIA supporting Stereophonics, Birmingham 02, Oxegen, V, HMV Forum, Haigh Hall)
Could and should've made a lot more than that, a number of factors have sadly restricted me to 7 so far, and only 4 of those were Courteeners headline shows.

Like Sean said i only wish i was older, a few times have i not been able to go cos i'm too young, especially in younger days. My old man (only because he'll read this) has seen them more than me. Is that good or bad?!
