Liam was just a little upset that after they spend a lot of time on the merch people were throwing harsh words at it. I still think people are entitled to their honest opinion, but I guess we should just draw a line under it all now and move on as normal. I'm sure many of you saw Liam's last tweet so I wish him all the best and hope everything's ok.

Move on Sean?? Not just yet.... It's not like there were loads of comments slating the merch, I think there was one comment about not liking t-shirts and a few mainly about the prices. Like you say Sean, everyone has their own opinions and can post them but there was no onslaught against the merch, far from it  |

I know Darren, it's the mentality of someone doesn't like something so you throw your toys out the pram against a forum who's done lots for the band over the years. When you create something, no matter how hard you work, not everyone's going to like it. It seems just because we're not ex Oasis loving drunkards who will lap everything up and chant "Liam" repeatedly as if he's a messiah, we shouldn't be able to have an opinion on something. Anyway, got that off my chest, whatever. |

It is not possible to love a band without blind adoration for everything they do? Saying that, I don't recall anyone having such a huge problem with the merch. And even if they did there's no reason for him to take such offence. I'm sure everyone knows that they've taken time over it and appreciates that but if someone doesn't like it then so be it. Fair enough if someone was openly rude about it or something, but that didn't happen. This was never such a big deal until that tweet, which I still think was a bit unnecessary.
And if we're going down the song lyrics route, I'll never dance with a sycophant..
