A 5 minute walk down the road from me. Absolutely quality. Was meant to go to The View there last year but it got cancelled so looking forward to this a lot.

I'm not sure to be honest, I think it's fairly sized as previous acts have included Weller, Elbow and James Morrison. Here's a link to a little information pack about the place, www.forestry.gov.uk/pdf/Delamere_liveMusic2011.pdf/$file/Delamere_liveMusic2011.pdfThe two others acts have already been announced so it should be soon it's official, although tickets will be around £30 I'd assume. It cost £27.50 for The View last year.

So they will be playing with others, it won't be one of their own gigs? I'm really confused about this gig haha.

There are three acts over one weekend every summer. Ranges from Elbow to James Morrison, from The Feeling to Erasure. Basically, there is always an act 'decent' and an eighties throwback and someone middle of the road.
But the Doves, Charlatans, Zutons gigs I've done there over the past few years have been first class. Especially if the weather is good.
So The Courteeners will have their own gig with whoever is supporting them.

Ah I see so The Courteeners will have the Saturday and on the Friday & Sunday there will be two other headline act.
This could be a great gig. Their first all standing outdoor?

I'm definitely on this.. Fair journey but after missing the M.E.N and seeing how good the atmosphere was I definitely need to start branching out to catch their bigger gigs. I've only seen them in London, Birmingham or at festivals so far.
£25 a ticket according to facebook.. Not too shabby at all, especially considering Foo Fighters are playing two outdoor gigs in my hometown that weekend and charging £45-£50.
Might have to get the folks to make it a Christmas present.
