Just found them and listened to the previews, they sound cool but not what I expected.
I firmly believed The Courteeners would head off into a style like Scratch Your Name..... and with this EP being called Electric Lick, I still held this prediction but by the sounds of it I could be wrong.
Liam did however say these were from Falcon sessions so they may not be a clear indication on how the band have developed.
Just like to add that the Zero cover sounds really nice, suits how Liam should do it with the piano etc.

Looking forward to this, but what is the point in a radio edit of Lullaby?

Looking forward to this, but what is the point in a radio edit of Lullaby? Kind of what I've been thinking. Might change my mind once I hear it but I don't see why it would be included. Maybe an acoustic version or something?

I think its the bog standard version, if edited to make it a little more appealing or to make it fit on the vinyl. Not entirely sure but I'm treating this as a single almost and album tracks are usually edited down on them.

My EP hasn't come yet and I can't really afford to pay for the songs off iTunes separately, it's painful.
I'm such a weak human being. Songs on download now, can't wait.

3 months is the better of the two, sounds a bit like a Falcon version of Acrylic.
All 3 are decent tunes though.

the Zero cover is so good
prefer Swear Down over 3 months - if you're not found on the ground with a needle in your arm then you're boring brilliant
