yeah mostly sold out compared to when they sell out 50,000 capacity stadiums here
On an old oasis interview they were saying that they were big in america although they appreciate the bands more for being musicians rather than quality of lyrics which sounds about right to me, apart from kings of the new road they dont really seem to have any massive sounding guitar riffs not saying its a bad thing by any means but thats why i think they may not make it into america when compared with oasis, arctics etc

yeah mostly sold out compared to when they sell out 50,000 capacity stadiums here obviously. the point i was making is that arctic monkeys do relatively well here considering how "british" their music is, because someone had said the courteeners are too british to crack america. i think the courteeners may have more universal subject matter to tell you the truth. i don't know about this notion of americans appreciating the music more than the lyrics, but if that really is the case, the courteeners could do well here considering how catchy their songs can be. guess we'll just have to wait and see. you have a fair point though, from one city fan to another.

yeah i know what u mean mate , i actually meant to add '50,000 stadiums in 6 minutes' btw and im just going off what oasis said in an interview i dont nor am i pretending i know anything on the matter
