Paredes de Coura is a Portuguese summer festival that will happen from 28th to 31st July.
The Courteeners were confirmed to play there, but until today we don't know in which day they will be playing.

I don't know, but I hope so, because i don't think I can go to the festival.
If the radio that supports the festival announces anything, I'll tell you.

Antena 3, that is a Portuguese radio station, will apparently broadcast all the gigs. The website is ww1.rtp.pt/antena3/
The Courteeners will play on the 30th of July.

I'll be going to that one! It will be my first Courteeners gig, I'm really excited. Is anyone from here going as well?

Anyone has any tips for getting to meet the band? Or do you think it's impossible?

I arrived there early the day they were playing and a few hours after I was in the camping place, my friend calls me saying The Courteeners were there! So I saw Michael, Daniel and Mark waling around in the middle of all those crazy people, (no one recognizing them of course) and I went to talk to them saying I was a big fan and all which at first they didn't believe and thought I was taking the piss lol. But then Michael said he thought I was their only fan there nd we talked for a bit. They told me Liam was inside but he'd definitely be out after the gig for a beer and told me to show up!
So the gig was magical for me, I was in the barriers, right in front of Liam, I sang my heart out and screamed a lot even if I was completely alone... But you could see that no one else was really having them, tbh. It was all indie kids wanting "UNDERGROUND, MAN". I was a bit sad they didn't play Aftershow and Take Over The World but it was amazing all the same.
So, anyway, after the gig I finally got to meet Liam, and I don't know, I think he might have been a little drunk, or he's just the nicest man on earth... He kissed my hand saying he loved me (too), he asked me if I was english saying that my english was better than most english people (lol!), he promised me a private gig (after I jokingly said I had bought 5 copies of Falcon) and said I had a great music taste!!
I've always had a huge crush on that man, but now I think I'm actually in love... lol
He was having a great time during Peter Hook, singing pretty much all the songs, and taking pictures with his iPhone, it was really fun!
I had the time of my life, and I really hope they'll come back soon.
