Who Would Win In A Fight Between Campbell And Ste

Any regular visitors to the site might have notice a verbal scrap between Cambell And Ste??

What started out as a spat over the Stone Roses (go to Other Bands, 'stone rose's are shit' thread, to see the first few rounds )soon turned into accusations about Liam Gallagher's arse and pregnant dogs.

But you the good people of the Courteeners forum have the power to decide who would win in school yard show down.

I would also like to add the fight has moved on to the second round after Ste accused the lead singer of the cribs of sounding like a 'bender' Mr Campbell then stood his corner for his fellow Yorkshire man which has lead to this fight now going on for nearly three days!!!

Ste i fully respect your choices of "The Libertines, Babyshambles, Dirty Pretty Things and the Arctic Monkeys" however i feel compelled by my love of music to treat with utter contempt your choices of "The Twang, Reverend And The Makers and The Enemy"

Everytime i see The Twang being labelled an "indie band" or The Enemy being labelled as a "great rock band" , it astonishes me.
It is a sign of the times that the NME latch onto chav bands from the midlands and then label them as saviours of the music scene.
The Twang produce utter Chav Drivvle , the type of music you might have the misfortune of finding at closing time in a Butlins on a Sunday evening.
The Enemy as a band (in particular Tom Clarke) have far too much to say for themselves (as our very own Mr Fray has commented on), which is worrying because their music is in essence dire.
Asides from the music which is the most important aspect of any band, it really frustrates me that Mr Clarke (The Sewer Rat on Vocals) has the audacity to think that he speaks as one voice for the people of Coventry or "Cov" as he so delightfully refers to Coventry (roughly twenty times) each time he makes an appearance at any event.

In conclusion you like some very good bands, and some very poor bands.

One question you could answer for me is how you can like The Libertines, in all their beauty and awe , helter-skelter fast riffs and rhythms, Doherty and Barat's relationship, wonderful lyrics: Music at it's finest and yet also like The Twang (There are fewer more distressing sights than that of an Englishman in a baseball cap) .
