With the General Election upon us, I've decided to start a thread for anything Election related. Which party are people planning on voting for? Will you be watching the Leadership Debate on Thursday night? Are you doing anything in your constituency?

If I could I'd vote Lib Dems. They seem nice guys. And I wouldn't vote Labour because I don't like my local MP. And I just have developed a hatred for David Cameron.

UKIP? BNP but for the upper-classes...
I can vote for the firs time this year and I really don't want to vote for either Labour or Conservative. Everybody believes that Cameron is just going to stroll in and make large cuts here and there and everything will be fine and dandy. That just will not happen. I think Osborne has no clue how to deal with the economy and is only going to f*ck it up even more.
I may have to vote for Labour purely on the fact that my vote elsewhere will be wasted and it will stop the BNP getting any form of support in local elections, which I am considerably worried about.

Completely agree with Christian
Don't have a clue who to vote for but I can't stand the conservatives and if I don't vote labour they will defo get in
Need to stop the BNP too

Id hate to vote for Labour purely out of a dislike for the Conservatives. I mean I DO dislike them but I think its time we had neither of them at the top.

Johno, you having never voted at the age of 20 isn't suprising as there hasn't been a General Election since you turned of age.
Debate then were good stuff, a lot more confrontational than last weeks, all were a great deal more comfortable too. Brown was serious and realistic on the big questions, Cameron was better than last week in delivery and style but the subtstance as per was just lacking, where are the policies? Clegg didn't build much on last week but maintained, which is a great success in itself. Was nice to see Brown opposing Clegg a bit more, Cameron had clearly revised his Cleggisms in parts as well. It was all "I'm being serious now" and long gazes into the camera. In the event of a hung Parliament, growing ever more likely by the day, the Tories are looking very non negociable. Went to my local candidates debate the other night at Blackburn Cathedral, were a good do, though Jack Straw's got a very safe seat it was still highly interesting.

Glad Fergal you also see straight through Cameron, he's a fool. I made my mind up a long time ago who I was voting for, I am openly a Labour supporter. Every question that David Cameron gets asked NEVER gets answered, he will go off on a tangent and criticise Gordon Brown, but never ever tell us what he is going to do to fix these things.
Unfortunately, in my constituency, Labour never win, it's a 2 horse race between Conservative and Lib Dem, with Lib Dem just heading it, so for the sake of keeping out a torie, I vote Lib Dem, which I don't really like doing to be honest.
All getting exciting, the whole country is gripped, I think it's great how much publicity it's getting, even my 12yr old sister is getting into it.

Agree with the publicity, massive debates in school these days about their manifesto's and that even though none of us can vote for a good few years.
