Someone threw a Green & Gold bar scarf (like the ones seen at Old Trafford, not the CMH ones) on stage on Monday and Liam put it on.

despite being a terrifc idea for a campaign, it's unfortunately become a generic fashion statement in my opinion. the majority of people wearing these scarves at old trafford know as much about united's financial/ownership predicament as they do about football, ie, nothing.
it's a great way to send an important message, but if i were malcolm glazer, i couldn't care less as long as the united brand continues to make a profit. how many of those wearing green and gold scarves would be willing to give up their season ticket or contribute to the red knight's takeover fund?

Therein lies the problem! The amount of people walking around OT wearing a G&G scarf along with an official United shirt is ridiculous. Just completely makes a mockery of the whole situation! But yeah, the only way the Glazers will take heed is if people start boycotting games. While they're in the ground I don't think the gimps will care how many Green & Gold scarves are on show.
