with you on that Dontask. I also feel that the lads couldnt have released anything like the sound on Falcon first time up, as it wouldnt have been received as well. St. Jude was setting the right platform to go on & do better, ie falcon. am i making sense?

Although I love Falcon and there is more depth to it...like other people have said, I have to really get into an album to love it and still don't think I have had Falcon long enough yet I also don't have as many memories as St Jude such as the Manchester Academy gig in 2008 and so many of the songs on it mean a lot to me for different reasons which I am sure given time Falcon will do the same and more Playing Falcon to my uni mate after banging on about the courteeners to her for the last two years, did however sway her to come watch them with me and ever since the gig shes been listening to them non-stop...but I think that's probably got a lot to do with how great they are as a live act

Love both, but I prefer Falcon 'cause it's more introspective, mature and various.

Have to go with St Jude. Better tunes, with a nice simple flow thru the album. Jude is an album I’ve sat and played along with the guitar loads of times. Havent even had the urge to play along to Falcon. Enjoying the bonus cd more. Saying that the falcon tunes do sound good live.
