First that I can remember actually wanting to go out and purchase was the first Franz Ferdinand album, for which I'm pretty proud. First I remember having is sumat by Ronan Keating I think! Or Robbie William's "Sing When You're Winning" and it's classic swing counterpart "Swing When You're Winning" in which he impresonated Sinatra, banging

1987, I'm only 12 and I'm sick of hearing my brother's "Heavy Metal" blasting through the walls, so what do I go and do buy Los Lobos - La Bamba on 7" Single... WTF was that all about? 2-3 years later my music taste gets a bit better, I'm sure the first album I bought was The Prodigy's Experience, early '90s was the rave scene round our way but I was into a bit of everything, never went near that horrible vibalite thing... thank f*ck Iron Maiden - Nirvana - Roses - Buddy Holly - The Beatles I picked up on all of my families listening habits, I'm sure it was Oasis that finally turned me?? in "Indie" but still have a variety of tastes and it never stops growing

First Record was probably Robbie Williams - Sing When You're Winning. Less said the better hahaha. The first Record/s I actually went out, bought and listened to were The Jam - In The City/The Libertines - Up The Bracket. Real life changers without wanting to sound a tw*t. Great summer that aswell, I remember buying those 2 cd's with my Birthday money.
