I thought it was the resident anti download campaigner when I read it.. despite me not being around these parts much.
Good letter bar for the fact I love synth pop, which is why I bought marina the same day as Falcon, shoot me now if Family Jewels is #1

its a great album mate, that single is more Siouxsie and The Banshees than it is Lady GaGa..
I sometimes think people are scared of pop music cos they dont look cool enough

marina isn't synth pop though. her album is good. with ellie goulding, got her album yesterday and listened too it through a couple of times, really really can't understand the hype. her songs before the album i really got into; wish i stayed, under the sheet, starry eyed, but that producer's ruined them. not much substance in the rest.

Its strange really of my 6 favourite albums so far this year only one is guitar based and thats "falcon" the others being Yeasayer, Hot Chip, Lonelady, Massive Attack and Gorillaz

Hmm, yeah that dancing jesus is alright. Good for early demo's and that that you can't buy. I heard quite a few of the early versions from Ellie Goulding and preffered them much more acoustic than the synthy stuff on the album. How have you got Gorillaz new one?

I see you made the NME pages again.
comparing "falcon" to "revolver" in that mag is very brave mate..
and yeah I do have the new Gorillaz and its more of a 9 than a 7... whilst were on the NME theme
