Does anyone under the age of 16 still read the NME? Is Q magazine up it's own arse? AND is there really a music mag called 'Badly Packed Kebab'?

NME i read mainly, even though they think they are the bottom line for whats cool and trendy in music and fashion. but they cover bands i like so i dont care. used to read total guitar a lot until i could work stuff out by ear. i try to find free fanzines on the net, they seem to be a bit better, with less focus on self gratification and more about the music. and a lot of the times theyre funny aswell.

NME all the way, some of its views are stupid and the way it handled that morrissey situation in december was a joke, abused his interview just for sales, but its still very handy and good. Q is up its own arse and doesnt have anything to do with a band until they do a big fat arena tour and the rare occasions that they do note the smaller bands, its awful, they said the courteeners were going down "the pigeon detectives route" and it was supposed to be a compliment. frightening

He never talks to anyone and they start asking him about immigration problems in this country??? What the f**k does that have to do with his f**k**g music. He's not a politician, he's never thought he was Bono. The interview just went downhill after that. He was spot on anyway in what he said, we are loosing our british-ness. I don't want to start getting all political on here, but if it came down to it, my right honorable friend from the north would get my vote. So the NME can kiss my right wing ass, am going for Q

i don't think mozzer was coming out with anything particularly right wing, on his website he posted a lengthy and very amusing piece of writing about the interview and how his words were twisted, and i dont think its right what they did manipulating his words, and we are losing our britishness and identity, but i dont think its anything to do with immigration at all, its the yanks and their media culture invasion that's done it i reckon, i might start a thread on it

becoming? become.
i dont mind people coming over here for work. doesnt bother me. dont mind muslims having mosques and whatnot. doesnt bother me.
but when theyre playing hell over our NATIVITY at christmas, and demanding all hospital beds be pointed towards Mecca, that does my skull in. This is our country at the end of the day. The Nativity is 2000 years old for f*ck suck.
its political correctness gone mad.

Clash magazine is the best, although I get the NME every week, I would have to say Clash is better overall
