would love Good Times Are Calling to be the next single, its really suprised me. That and Scratch Your Name Upon My Lips.
Love the bit at the beginning before it slowly kicks in, and then the lyrics are just really nice and easy. Like you said Ant, very radio friendly too with the hooks etc.

Scratch Your Name Upon My Lips reminds me a lot of Trying Too Hard To Score, the intro then into the guitars. Brilliant.

I really don't think 28 is a true reflection of the charts at the minute. It feels like it's been the same top 10 for weeks. It's going to be very hard to break that top 10 for anyone. As dissapointing as it is, to be positive it is another track in the top 40. Here's to hoping everyone who bought You Overdid It Doll will be buying the next Courteeners single, regardless of campaigns etc.

so.....28, not really brilliant but an 'indie' band isn't going to get a number 1 in this current music scene is it.
Anyway, the charts are shit. It's not about this anyway, it's about the music, and after reflection, You Over Did it Doll is probably one of the better of the songs.

dont think the band are arsed about the single position - the album should do much better tho, hopefully a number 1 but reckon number 2
