Top ten is optimistic, somewhere in top twenty is more realistic

Way I see it, is the track as good as Not Nineteen Forever and What Took You So Long?, no. You Overdid It Doll is/was never going to be a set closer/encore. It was a good song yes, but it's not as good as them two. Is it as good as That Kiss? Yeah, probably. In the climate of downloads now, as said before, Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian, arena fillers, are getting one hit and not charting. So 28 is a good position at the end of the day.

And it did get you a mention on the TV YODID isn't the strongest song, though apparently the first single released from an album always charts highest, though I very much doubt so.

Well if you're going according to Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian then it will, but I think the Courteeners have always been consistent with their singles. Wasn't it like 20, 19, 35, 36? So they actually did better with the 2nd single and have always been in the top 40. There are much stronger songs on the album.

WTYSL? Wasn't released as an album single though, was released like 4 months before hand, so doesn't count as an album single really. After hearing the album over and voer, I'm suprised that Take Over The World or Good Times Are Calling wasn't a lead single, both sound very very commercial with great hooks, which at the end of the day is what makes a popular radio hit these days.

Yeah, though I don't think it matters anyway,as long as fans like it, and people haven't heard Falcon yet to fall in love with the Courteeners or YODID. It was a though week, so I think 28 is a good start. Think where Falcon charts will be a much bigger achievement. Glad Jedward weren't in the top 10.

I guess so, long time ago aha. I would say, Take Over The World, Scratch Your Name Upon Your Lips or The Opener would be the next single.

Really? I think it will be a ballad the release next, as YODID was fast and the albums really mixed.

I've got alot of money on either Take Over The World or Good Times Are Calling for next single. They are the 2 most fitting if they are after success with a radio hit. Wouldn't be suprised if both are released at some point, would be bit daft not to.

Figurative of course. Haven't got any bloody money! They both make great singles though, saying that, they may not release the next single based on how radio friendly it is.

the last U2 single didnt make the top 100, the singles charts mean nothing.
Its albums that count, and if morons stop buying Glee it will be #1

It did scruff, made 32. The one before only got 45 I think and they were better than most of the crap there today.
