I'm going to add my praise to this album, I'm really getting into "will it be this way forever" I think that's just the best song they've done so far. Honestly I think the album definitely seems more mellower than St Jude, less rocky but more passionate because of all the emotions that are stirring around in the record. That's my two cents.

I'm with you on 'Will It Be This Way Forever?'. Its brilliant. I think it contains this album's Morrissey reference/tribute as well. It seem quite blatant to me. Anyone else notice? "Angel as you go down, I'll let you know tomorrow change your plea to guilty and another day we'll borrow" Two early Moz solo songs are 'Angel, Angel We Go Down Together', and the brilliant 'I've Changed my Plea To Guilty'. Could also probably include 'Tomorrow' as well, but thats a bit of a stretch.

Had the album on in the car and she said that the vocal and a bit of the vibe of the record is very Morrissey/The Smiths influence.

Easily one of the best tracks they've done, filled with atmosphere, lyrics are great too. Just about album of the year, tied with Yeasayer Only February

Listened to it through a couple times now, amazing. Has all the things St Jude was lacking, should set them up for great things

listened through a couple of times now and it's fantastic. I love The Opener, top top tune. Sycophant has exceded my expectations, it's ludicrously mint.

At first, the only tune that never grew on me at all was Lullaby, but I can immensely relate to it now, as in relate to the person speaking (I assume it's first person).
Scratch your name upon my lips has grown on me, still my least favourite, but at the same time as that is still a great tune, huge step musically.
Every other tune I love in there own way. 'Cross My Heart...' though we've had it for a while I still click along to, great tune. Even YODID I love now, and I was scared I would hate the album when I first heard it, but fucking hell I was wrong.
Liam put it best on album charts show, so much to listen to, every tune is unique, none sound the same at all. Cameo Brooch and Last of The Ladies both make me want to cry, beautiful. Liam sounds beautiful on 'Rest Of The World...'. The Opener is, well a fucking perfect song to open the album with, love the 'grrrrrrring' part. Good Times and Take Over The World both potentially great singles, particularly the latter, gives me goosbumps hearing it. And then Will It Be This Way Forever? and Sycophant are just fucking monsters. Both huuuuge tunes, and already I hold Sycophant in my highest regards, as one of the best songs ever written, speaks for itself in the lyrics.
Just a point. To anyone who's heard Why Do You Do It?, it's the exact same melody as Last Of The Ladies, isn't it?
