Just wondered why Marina and that has dissapeared and it's because they're in stock. The 1cd Falcon and Marina & the Diamonds are in stock and in the bestselling list.

But, this isn't counting the 2cd version which is 2nd in the preorder chart. Surely this would mean the boys have got a fair few more sales, and would also indicate that Universal haven't sent the Second Folio to any suppliers as well as us yet. Joke.

Pretty confusing because of the two CD's out and different charts but I dunno why but I feel a Top 3 for sure.

Does anyone have an idea of the amount of sales the band need for Top 3, Number 1? etc because I really dont and I know that he branded the figure of 32,000 tickets have been sold for March and 10,000 at the GMEX too.

I'm pretty sure when The Enemy got to number 2 in May last year they only sold about 15,000 copies, not sure though.

I suppose it all depends who they are up against but you would think that this album has or will sell more than The Enemy and St.Jude.

'Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you of my disappointment regarding the pre-orders of The Courteeners new album 'Falcon'.

I placed my order with Universal Records back on the 7th December to guarantee i received a copy of the new album as soon as possible, which i am eagerly anticipating.
Two months pass, i am told on Friday (19th February) that there has been a problem at the warehouse and that i will not be receiving my album until after the release date as my order has not even been dispatched.

This leaves me with two options, hang on until i receive it which could be late next week or go and purchase another copy from my local town on monday morning, which will have financial cost as a result of universal's incompetence.

I have been a fan of the band since early 2008 and have continued to support them buying every release to date along with attending 3 of their previous gigs, even traveling to Liverpool all the way from Middlesbrough for their one off gig at the Academy.
I also have booked 3 gigs to see them showcase 'Falcon', which include the Radio 1 gig with The Futureheads and headline gigs at Sheffield and Newcastle later in March.

I am not the only person this has happened to as i am a member of Snorting and Cavorting forum,
i know there is not much you can do however believe it necessary to make you aware that real fans are suffering from this error.

As much as I sympathise with you for not receiving the album on time.

Why the hell are you all moaning?

You've paid your money, just download the bloody album and wait a few more days to get the CD.

If you look on Universal's site it says that the release date is on/before Feb 25th, if that's got anything to do with it

really? maybe nobody's gonna get them til the 25th :/
although mine was sent out from universal on wednesday. still not here yet. if it's not here tomorrow i guess i'll go and buy another from hmv.

Very disappointed it's not here to say the least, you would think ordering 'officially' so to speak would mean you get the album before HMV...

I'm not bothering with downloading it, I'm waiting to get my 'proper copy' give it a real listen
