Pretty class interview with Liam. Clint asks him about The Courteeners and he says he's heard a couple of Courteeners tunes, not any of the new stuff but he's heard it's gone disco. Then Clint Boon says its dark disco and he'd probably like it. Anyway yeah, worth a listen. www.xfm.co.uk/news/2010/clint-boon-meets-liam-gallagher

He didnt really say whether he was into them or not haha, great interview though! both the courteeners and liam gallagher are quality!
Dont agree that they have gone disco though! Just everybody saying that off the back of 1 tune. If they heard the album and live set then they would disagree!

Yeah I agree, never heard Oasis comment on the band so at least we know they're aware of them. Top interview.

Typical Liam interview. Nothing new, glad he's heard of Courteeners though.

Positive acknowledgement from Noel would be proper good, I've never really cared for Liam's opinion. Good move that his Oasis re-incarnation isn't going to be titled Oasis though, think that's the best thing he can do. Tickets for Noel for TCT at Uncle Albert Hall are going for loads on eBay, already have tickets for Courteeners at Leeds that night and it'd be an expensive do to say the least so I didn't bother

Hopefully some times later this year he'll kick down with some new tunes and tour a few cities. If so, then I am already there

with reference to the brits last night; i think liam has the right to do whatever he wants, he's just made the best album of the last 30 years so he's got the right to give it to anyone in the front row or anyone. peter kays the nobhead.

its that he didnt mention noel that pissed me off. oasis would have been gone long ago without him. couldnt really care less about the award, if thats the best album in 30 years then gutted anyway (though it was the best on that list i guess).
