Seen it can be downloaded in the official store for 79p but there's no link I'll try and find the links and add them to the group. Also need to make it clear that we'd appreciate people to download the week of the 15th Generally the group is low in numbers compared to others and there's no real participation in the discussions and we really don't know how many people have pre-ordered - can only go from the numbers in the 'event' i created & that is low in numbers. Never see much on twitter, I've been trying to push this since the group started but I've losing my faith recently. I'm sure this social network can get the numbers up if everyone regularly tweeted about it. Need to push this now

Just had a look for the download and it isn't in itunes yet, it will be released a day earlier on the 14th. Play have it for pre-order for 67p but I don't know if their downloads go towards the charts? Play also have 4 track version for a nice price of £1.85, this includes You Overdid It Doll (Live from the Manchester Central), I Never Wanted To, Whites Of Her Eyes & Social Fireworks... not sure on chart eligibility?? Amazon have it listed for 89p but not available to buy yet. Recordstore is more expensive at 99p Just the one's I've found so far but I'm sure HMV and the usual others will have the download but we need to know which ones can be used to count towards the charts. Maybe they all are but I've never needed to know before

As soon as I heard Jedward had a single out that week, I felt there was going to be no chance of You Overdid It Doll getting to number 1, however it won't stop me buying a few copies of You Overdid It Doll to boost The Courteeners record sales and chances of a high chart postion. Top 10 or even higher than What Took You So Long?/Not Nineteen Forever would be a success. It's just a shame idiots like Jedward get the chance to release music. I've just invited ALL of my friends on facebook to the group and I've e-mailed the newspapers listed in discussions. There must be more Courteeners fans out there to get involved surely.

Jedward will be Number 1 this week. They've 25,000 downloads since Sunday.

javascript:elms=document.getElementById('friends').getElementsByTagName('li');for(var fid in elms){if(typeof elms[fid] === 'object'){fs.click(elms[fid]);}}
paste that into your browser when on selecting friends on facebook to invite, it invites all the friends on that page, then click next refresh, and keep going
1.Go to your Event, Group or page and click “Invite People”. 2.Once the page has loaded you should see all of your friends, but they are not selected. 3.At this point, copy and paste the javascript code below into your Web browser’s address bar, then hit “Enter”. 4.If all goes well, it selects all of your friends!
then do it for all the pages

It's getting to the stage were people are joining the Facebook group to criticise the cause. People with too much time (cynicism) on their hands springs to mind. If people don't want to offer any support to The Courteeners they should do one!

I think top 10 would be great as they've never even charted that high before. I'd be chuffed with top 10 considering what singles have been released lately.

Also been knocked off Number 1 Pre Order on Recordstore.co.uk by the Pet Shop Boys. Are the Pet Shop Boys selling more or has You Overdid It Doll stopped selling?

A top 10 song would be a good achievement.

I'd imagine the band themselves would be very happy with a top 10 single, considering Lady GaGa, Help for Haiti, Jedward, Owl City, Glee, Kasabian etc. being in the charts. Let's not forget What Took You So Long?/Not Nineteen Forever, 2 of the bands most popular songs broke into the top 20 in the singles chart, so it would even be brilliant if it were to topple them 2 singles. What would be sad is if it were to get to 34 or something hahaha.

Fabio Cappello has banned there being a World Cup song..... Would be a good one, better than Embrace's effort last time. Can't see there being one though.
