This appearance is surely down to the label I mean, apart from Lost Prophets (I don't like them either but a least they are a proper band) there's some god damn awful acts! Anyone going to this so called 'festival' ??

I don't know why anyone would go, its not like all the bands are in the same genre or even at all alike, I can see 100000's of chavs and pretenders going,

It'll probably be like the Stars of 2009 thing. Someone I know went for Kasabian, they played Fire then she had to stand through hours of shit like JLS and N-Dubz. For 34 quid. Wouldn't bother myself, it'll probably be on tv.

yeah 38 quid for it, you've got to either live next door to the venue or be obsessively addicted to go and watch them.

I honestly do love the Courteeners but I couldn't bare to watch N-Dubz and JLS, to hear one song, no no no.... i'd rather just write them a fan letter.

Yeah, but £38 for one song, surrounded by people who weren't there for the Courteeners and were dying to see N-Dubs.
If it was in Manchester and the Cribs or someone decent were on too, i'd say yeah, Newcastle and crap bands, no!

well i guess im talking from my position, being 16 and having to get to newcastle on my own, spend 38 quid plus all the money it would cost to get there. basically impossible.
