well you and cb won't have read Q when it was in , was before you two graced the forum
tracklisting isn't 'confirmed' but I'd say that recordstore may be a good source and the glove fits

If this is true, which I assume it is, what a strange title Tracklisting looks ace, but want to know what happened with 3 months and Revolver, looks like Revolver will never be on a record Hopes are pinned on a B-side though

Yeah I was thinking what could the title be associated with?? A pub? The bird? the old ford car? The ship in star wars?? Seriously, it must be something close to them, don't know! We should be in for a treat for the B-Sides, they've got shit loads of spare tracks now

I don't see why falcon is a strange name? doesn't matter in the slightest to be honest as long as the songs are good
I had a feeling Revolver wouldn't be on the album
Never said because I love it and really hoped it would be but I remember Liam saying at some acoustic thing a while ago that the record label didn't like it, probably still don't and I think a compromise (hoping anyway) will make it a B-side
Hope its the B-side to CMH&HTF would make it mega limited and a great 7 inch to quench the fans' thirst

Didn't want to go off topic or ought, that's why I thought I'd try and look into the meaning of the title. Don't want people mixing this with the The Second Album thread

Wonder why they don't like it, wouldn't have anything to do with the word 'f*ck' at the end of the verse would it Class song, we've got a decent version of it acoustic anyway so not a massive loss. B-sides won't let us down.

Please can we keep everything to do with the second album IN The Second Album "Falcon" thread. Sean started this to discuss the title really and I don't want double posting or forgetting which to post in. So please only discuss the title and cover in here as the thread title suggests. Thank you

the what the world is waiting for picture is an old pic from a magazine, not the album cover using a stone roses song as an album name wouldn't be right haha I remember the 1st time I heard the album was st.jude and saw that I wasn't sure but obv have grown to love it, they know what their doing, looking forward to the artwork! seems like thats the tracklisting and falcon is far better than 'a present for everyone' sure lullaby is a james song ha Wasn't Liam going on about some as yet un-named song that was a great opener for the album but they didn't know what to call it? haha seems like they found a name then! maybe they will open with it instead of aftershow? Lullaby is a song by The Cure, not sure about James tho

Yeah the Cure song have a song called Lullaby too So do James though it's on Laid - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laid_(album)only mentioned it as James are quite a big influence, wonder if it had an influence on the title of the song? (bring it relevant to the thread ey darren?)

Doubt very much it'll be a cover version but may have been influenced by either of them, sure Liam mentioned something about The Cure in one of the album progress messages??
So where does "Falcon" come from? I suppose we'll find out as there'll be many interviews coming up
