Don't lecture us about musically conitated sins Sean. That would be the epitome of hypocritical.

I hate X Factor personally, which isn't suprising to anyone who's ever read anything I've said on here. It's crap television and churns out lockjaw popstars with nothing about them for a couple of months, expoloits morons dreams (be it those on the screen or those viewing) and leaves people in ruins once the column inches and the hits grow thinner as so often they do. However, I can't say I hate Simon Cowell. He's a very clever man, he's created a product that he appears to show contempt for, conned the British public, created a money machine and he knows it. I doubt he thinks that anything on it is particularly good, and though it's having a massively detremental effect on the state of pop music, I respect how he's conned most of the nation and made a fortune along the way. The reason why he doesn't care if he's nasty or people hate him is because they're still making him money through doing so, and good luck to him. I do believe though that there will come a day, probably in about 5/10 years time, that the X Factor goes away. Like all great TV phenomenons, they have their time and pass. Same with Big Brother, 5 years ago nobody would have thought that could ever go away and it was truly unbeatable, all it takes is a bit of controversy and a shift in public opinion once they become bored of the same thing happening year after year and its on its way down. Mark my words. And it's ruined the great British tradition of Christmas Number One! And that really angers me.
