Can't remember exact set but something like (I will miss some out...) New Tune, Cavorting, Acrylic, Bide Your Time, Good Times Are Calling, Please Don't, Cross My Heart And Hope To Fly, You Overdid It Doll, If It Wasn't For Me, Sycophant, The Opener, Kings Of The New Road, Take Over The World, -------------------------------------------- Revolver, (as requested by me  ) How Come, Yesterday Today... -------------------------------------------- Fallowfield, NFF, WTYSL? -------------------------------------------- NYDNYD I know that I got the order comletely fucked up, got most of it on video so will look tommorow, but that was the idea and they where the songs played, the middle bit being Liam acoustic |

Brilliant Ant, a great long set for you all last night... dropped Aftershow then, looks like I've missed the era with that as the opener! As for 'The Opener', what's that like? Same for all the new songs, what are they like?? Someone should review this for the panel asap |

Sorry, forgot That Kiss, that was played aswell, a much harder version I must say All the new songs where impressive, they where stronger and rockier than expected and they sounded really fucking raw. The Opener has this bit in it where Liam does a long drawn out growl, like "grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraa" and it sounds fucking ace, is similair to Aftershow in the sense that it is truly a fucking storming start to any album. Can't remember the very first track that well, other than it being a loud rock tune again, and some lyric about a chinese chippy, I expected Cavorting to open so didn't see that coming. Good Times and Sycophant sounded as class as ever, Sycophant in particular had a real edge to it, thet organ part really creates an atmosphere, though I was suprised that not many people knew the words, I got some right looks just because I knew the words to it You Overdid It Doll, lyrically from what I can remember was very much following that path we seem to be heading down, the Guy Garvey lyric type thing, but ti worked well. Take Over the World, only Liam on guitars, Conan switched to xylaphone and keyboard duties, again not a brilliant memory of this but from what I remember (I did get it on video so will re-review later) it had the simple chorus of the title line sang several times, which sounded very good. About all I can remember, sorry that it's a bit vague, I picked up some lyrics of new tunes and started singing them half way through as if I knew them, which drew some strange looks All in all a fucking ace gig, I picked the right time to go to my first Courteeners gig, I'm actually worried that Friday will exceed all expectations and will blow the fucking roof of Manchester Central, going to be huge. I'll take the fact that he answered my request for Revolver by only playing it acoustically as a hint that it was never recorded full band aswel  |

I'll also point out whilst I remember, on XFM this morning they said the new album is called 'St. Jude' lol. I txted in to correct them and they apologised, but that is a horendous mistake!
