Top night except for the huge let down of Echo and the Bunnymen. They were immense at Ritz a few months earlier but were very poor last night. They just seem disinterested. Alot of people weren't even watching anyway and were just chatting to their mates. Clint Boon said afterwards to the crowd something along the lines of having seen one of the most important bands in British history.
The Cribs were excellent and Fray's set was much more livelier than I expected. courteenersjc's sister asked me to let him in front of me so he could see ha.

i saw some lads dancing at the front like it was some sorta northern soul club haha
liam's set should've been longer, the new song sounded top, looks easy to play too.
he had a smart shirt on, wouldn't expect less from him though.
echo and the bunnymen..wtf!? "this is the greatest song ever written" he musta said that about 3 times, and ironically they cut off the song half way through The Cutter...that over the top fog/fake smoke they used was jokes too.
cribs were sick as! the only thing that disappointed me was when ryan did the riff for Another Number then jumped into a different song, and the crowd were still singin along the Another Number riff haha
frank t was dead good an all, need to listen to him more

great pic that ^^^ !! that bloke gets more legendary by the day. I listened to it all on the radio, and was gutted that it was literally 100 yards away and i had no ticket! as for Big Hands ant, i live like next door to it (yaknow whitworth park halls?), and don't you think it's a bit pricey? only bin in there once like but i seem to remember seeing the prices and walking straight back out
