Alright folks, saw The Courteeners for the second time in Glasgow last night (1st was in Glasgow for them supporting The Coral)
Last night one of the songs borrowed the outro from The Stone Roses Standing Here......... was wondering if this was just a one-off or if its in teh actual song.
I think I've got all the mp3s that are knocking about and havent heard it on any of them.......

no ive not heard it, but the do tend to do a few things like this. changing lyrics, covering stuff. what song was they were doing 'standing here' to btw?

I'm not sure what Courteeners song it was.
I was more wondering if this was always the case or they just added it last night.
Assuming you're a Roses fan, it was the line that goes
I should be safe forever in your arms .......
not that that makes any difference, but I thought you'd like to know anyway.
I'm guess that it was just added in for last night then

I you've go the whole set that would be great.
Managed to get The Charlatans from their forum but weren't even sure if Courteeners was broadcast.
