right im sorry but he just seems like a stuck up old grampa. i mean will the bloke get a life and grow the hell up? people go to a concert to hear the music not to hear jokes about bloody views on meant. i would've said the same thing, and infact morrisey can go 'do what he told the person in the video to do'. This is Morrissey, if you want a nice concert where you can sit and clap and don't have to hear anything intellectual I'm sure Busted's reunion tour or maybe Snow Patrol will be very happy to cater to that, however with Mozzer he gives sumat different and if you don't want that then don't go. Throughout his career Moz has given his views on politics or the meat industry or the media etc during gigs, this isn't anything new. Someone heckling him was out of order, and there was no need for it. Morrissey handled it brilliantly, why should he put up with abuse from anyone? He wasn't insulting Hamburg one bit. Morrissey handled it very well, and though he is often a bit over cocky when he has his bodyguard near, he was well within his rights.

Well he's in the MUSIC business. If he was in the meat or politics trade then I understand maybe but it's out of order. I know you love Morrisey and will probably defend him to death but it's bang out of order.

YES, maybe it was a lil out of order, but worthy of ejection? thats just not right. at all! Morrissey is entering senescene with zero dignity.

Yeah, and people hating Bono is sumat I find a little strange, I don't mind people involving their own political views into their music, it keeps things interesting. And I feel it was worthy of ejection - in what other workplace or situation would shouting abuse at someone be acceptable? Morrissey gave the man a chance to defend himself and, though he was a little too cocky and self assured as he was on stage, he then chucked him out. Any artist has the right to do this at their own gigs and Mozzer's in the right I believe.

Have you watched the video of it at all? Don't take the word of the NME on Morrissey, they've made it look far worse than it is on Morrissey's part, another chance for the NME to take a dig at him after he refused to be involved with them anymore. Watch the video, Morrissey reacts perfectly to the heckler, asks him why he said it and gives him a chance to explain himself, there was nothing wrong with what Morrissey did.

I don't care, thought that the guy got a bit 'over offended' at a little joke, no need to tell him to 'f*ck off'. Followed it with an ace performance of one of my fave Smiths songs

Moz should get some veal or foie gras down him. Maybe then he’ll grow a pair and stop acting like a minge piece. Fucks sake whatever next?
