Get well soon Mozzer, my thoughts go out to you. I'm up in Aberdeen this week and coming down to Sheffield on Thursday for the Moz gig on the Friday, transport cost quite a bit, so I do hope he's better for that. Be good for him to get some rest though and get back to 100%, been a difficult year for him.

Yeah, you're right, since returning from the wilderness in 2004 he's scarcely had time to himself. It's been touring, recording, touring, recording non-stop for 5 years now, and he managed to do that when he was younger with the Smiths and the first decade of his solo career but not as a 50 year old man sadly. His love of touring does command massive respect but if it's becoming so detremental to his health, he should slow down. And perhaps question why he's currently playing "Death At Ones Elbow" but that's more of a personal grievance

Nah I didn't find it sarcastic, you were very correct. He probably is too stubborn to slow down and I think he also has a lack of anything in his life other than music, not that that's a bad thing but it means that all he wants to do is tour and record (thank God someone does). And aye, set lists will never ever make fans happy, for some reason Oasis always seem(ed) to get it right I thought though.

yeah i slate oasis alot but they always kept the classics in and mixed the rarities up. because of muses stage show i think they are very constrained with what they can play. but saying that its only the album promoting tour maybe when its stadium time ill be happier.
and he should maybe think about more time in the studio and less on the road? im not saying he hasnt taken his time with his albums but theres always more that can be done.

I pray to baby Jebus he's fit enough for the liverpool gig next week. I'm gonna be gutted if he isn't (1st time seeing him and that). Times like this I feel sorry for the peeps who've booked rooms and traveled a fair way. Not too fussed what his setlist is, as long as its more than 1 song long

right im sorry but he just seems like a stuck up old grampa. i mean will the bloke get a life and grow the hell up? people go to a concert to hear the music not to hear jokes about bloody views on meant. i would've said the same thing, and infact morrisey can go 'do what he told the person in the video to do'.
