No need for any bickering on this, we get some great news that the new album is nearly finished so lets enjoy it! What a great studio to finish it as well From wiki: "the studio was made specifically for Hendrix, with round windows and a machine capable of generating ambient lighting in a myriad of colors..... It was designed to have a relaxing feel to encourage Hendrix's creativity". Let's hope not too many of Hendrix's influences rubbed off on the lads darren you criminal! quite excited about this, muse have mixed in this studio for black holes and revelations and i love hendrix too. pretty sure this will be a step forward for them.

i just want some big tunes, like massive songs. that would be a step up from the first album where in terms of massive sounding songs there was only really imo nnf and wtysl.

yeah i disagree there like, all of st.jude was massive in my eyes. Fair enough the songs mentioned were some of the better on the album. I think the new stuff will generate a lot more interest in the boys. And hopefully they actually get played on the radio? Fucking radio 1 never play them, and they were awesome in the live lounge too.

who cares about radio 1? they don't need radio 1, maybe the odd zane lowe play but they don't need morons like jo whiley playing them. i'd be more scared of the fans they'd gain from radio 1 airtime. i hate the term 'indie' aswell.

fair point some clowns would end up liking them if they were played on radio 1. But lets be serious, if the band are going anywhere they will end up on radio channels such as radio 1, rather than just being heard by XFM listeners once in a blue moon. Although, as liam said "loved by the people not by radio".

massive songs to who, the general public or people that like indie? massive songs to me, its not that st.jude wasn't massive. hard to explain. i mean like massive tunes where's songs like please don't and yesterday, today.. were genius in a different way. and with the radio thing, i want them to be big and get the further success they deserve and then make a weirdly good 3rd album that will scare off all the stupid fans like arctic monkeys have done.
