There was once a boy called Ant And he liked a jolly good rant Whether it be an overpriced jumper Or another misnomer From the heart, pulsing through his veins He'll stress his point over an over
Think thats my first contribution, appropriately in the other tat section!

Aww. Ant. That was a little harsh I think. I know, as well as you do, that poetry really is emotional and often personal. But I love little poems like this. I was really really down last week and my best friend Lorna wrote me a poem. Totally stupid and 'pointless' but it made me smile and cheered me up. And that's giving it a point in itself isn't it? So CB, yes, was writing a stupid poem, but it played for our amusement. And I think that is a worthy enough cause.

Ive read Ants feelings on CBs fun rhyme Hes going on as though CBs commited a crime A wee bit of fun put it down to his youth Come on Ant stop being so aloof Poems dont have to be serious and correct I think we should should show CB some "respect" We all know he was just having some fun So come on Ant stop talking from your bum Or is it that you are some expert teacher And maybe your job is as a poem preacher "pointless, meaningless, and a complete waste of space" is how you described it but to some it isnt the case Most laugh at it and know it is funny and silly Lighten up Ant and get listening to a Fallowlield Hillbilly And lets also take a minute bow our heads and mourn And lets think about our poor mate Sean Seconds away from getting Cavorting on cd I bet I know who bought it it was that little fucker CB !!!!!! lol
I just had to comment !!

Nah, sorry, just feels like a waste of fucking space. Here some of us are, writing, real poems, about real things, which I myself if not other people, find very close to myself, and find that they are a go to when all else is wrong, and I myself even dream of some day doing something serious with it, but still people persist or doing crap like this. Nothing personal against you Conor, call me a kill joy if you must, but I just find stuff like this pointless, meaningless, and a complete waste of space. More than anything, it just gets me angry. When I spend day in day out trying to bring everything in into a real poem, that really means alot, I have sleepless nights tyring to get things right, get things perfect so they are as they should be, it feels very frustrating that tosh like this gets posted basically. Sorry. its fine im not bothered but its obviously not serious and dont know why its pointless? its a joke chill
