I'd rather just dig out the old VHS of the normal version than pay to see it. Seems daft.

Went to watch it with the wife the other night, what an epic film! The 3D was fantastic, 3D's really moved on in the last couple of years actually, and I forgot how well scripted and generally a great film Toy Story is. It's a testamant to that film that parents and children loved it alike and could all appreciate it. Well worth a view while you can! And Sean, swallow your pride and go for it, if somethings good when you're 9 why not try and appreciate it now?

Genuinely it was very good, I can see 3D being the new face of children's animation in all honesty. It worked really well. Until then my perception of 3D was them dodgy red and blue glasses that were uncomfortable to put on and the picture was slightly fuzzy and the film was all gimicky and aimed at 3D with people sticking their hands out of the screen and that, but with a good film to compliment it and new, top of the range technology it works beautifully.

I wouldn't mind seeing that Ricky Gervais film, massive fan of Gervais, the Office is one of the best British comedies ever made and his stand up DVDs are hilarious - tempted to see him at Apollo in November.

I went to see the Ricky Gervais film 'The Invention of Lying' last night. Huge let down for me. Excellent idea/concept but poorly executed. Not enough funny moments, some parts were overdrawn and boring and also it was far too cliched in places. Had a couple of decent moments but I won't be in a rush to see it again.
