there's like not one good dance song in the whole world, its terrible! there's a few good hip hop songs but not many, graduation by kanye west was good. Sorry but Kanye West is shite. Listen to Rakim CL Smooth Wu Tang.

Wholly I agree with the majority who have been mentioned, particularly Marr and Yorke/Greenwood, but would like to add: Guy Garvey, and the rest of Elbow for that matter Damon Gough Natasha Khan
The latter makes really beautiful and creative music; personally I think she's underrated.
