yeah GCSE's are ok, im sure you'll do fine, wait until your in college and they say 'right now pick a degree that will basically determine what you do for the rest of your life!'
gcse's are just the start m8

well so far i've had a c and a b in maths but i told the teacher how crap she was at teaching cos she's really bad but i'm resitting the first. i had 3 c's in science but thats good for me because long story i didnt really learn any for the last two years. and in r.e i missed out a whole section of my exam and got a c and in english ive had 4 a's and a a* in coursework. but im resitting a maths and two sciences. im hoping for a's and b's to get into sixth form respectably.

As long as your not aiming to be a doctor somewhere special then what you get in your GCSE's isn't that important, its getting the grades you need to get into 6th form that matters
then you need to get the best A-levels possible for whatever you wanna do afterwards

thats what i was thinking but the teachers make out as this is going to define your life. i mean i know i really need to put the work in and i probably will but i should easily get into sixth form. theres like half subjects i can get an a without trying and half ill need to work hard.

they are important if you dont move onto a levels. yeah your right tbh they are as important as your teachers are making out as without them your well and truly fucked my point which I may not have put very well was that it depends what your aiming for, either way you should always do your best in everything you do but you also need a life, not all work work work as some people/parents believe need to get the balance of both, get it right now and you'll be fine at college and uni if you go as you really do need to get that balance right the old 'work hard, play hard' saying haha
