From NME.com
Manchester lads The Courteeners have announced another batch of tour dates.
The four-piece, whose debut album 'St. Jude' entered the charts at Number Four this weekend, are currently on a sold-out tour of the UK.

The band will play the following dates:
Newcastle Academy (October 3) Sheffield Academy (4) Dundee Fat Sam's (6) Glasgow Barrowlands (7) Manchester Apollo (9) Liverpool University (11) Hull University (13) Nottingham Rock City (14) Norwich UEA (15) Leeds Academy (17) Birmingham Academy (18) Portsmouth Pyramid Centre (19) Bristol Academy (20) Oxford Academy (22) London Shepherd's Bush Empire (23)
Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on Friday (April 18).

Get in! They said they would be coming back to Oxford on the January tour but when they didn't announce a date for the April tour I thought they were just lying. Can't wait now, and a week before my birthday as well! Hopefully it will be upstairs again.

Do people reckon tickets will be more expensive now that Courteeners are quite famous or the same price (around a tenner)?

Anyone else think Apollo is a sh*t venue? yeah the sound systems cack unless you are right at the front, even then its not the best. Was right at the back (next to the bar) for the XFM gig and all the bands, with the exception of the Acoustic sets, just sounded like a noise with everything turned up too loud.
