Immense gig last night... I was amazed at how much attention my "The Courteeners - We Stand" T-Shirt was getting. The girl on the merchandise stand was quizzing me on how I'd got one when they wouldn't even be on sale until after the gig.
Saw a load of flyers being thrown into the air mid gig. Nice work Fergal haha. Ran into two other forum members randomly when I overheard them say Fergal. Funny. Can't wait for tonight.

And aye, me and Dec started raining the gig with flyers at one point, that proved the most effective way actually

Quality gig, kept out of the way at the back though didnt want to look like a drowned rat out in town afterwards  Recognised a couple of people from the forum at the aftershow, no idea who they were though... Whos doing Liverpool tomorrow?? |

Haha tonigt was just as good....got some great videos, I recorded Bo Jangles in full just wondering if there was anywhere I could post it on the forum for us loot to watch rather than you tube??
Got Conans plec which was nice after id had a chat beforehand with him, was well funny he had to ask another security guard to give it me cause the first one didnt notice him smacking him on the shoulder

I prefered last night to Thursday, both great gigs though, thoroughly enjoyed myself. If only they were doing a 3rd night And aye get that BoJangles video up! I had it in my head all yesterday, its catchy as f*ck. Absoloutely sick of "Manchester la la la" though....detest that |

Last night was mental. Probably better than the Thursday night. Anyone know why they were filming the whole gig? Possible DVD release maybe?
Same set list last night but with the superb addition of Smiths Disco in the place of NYDNYD if i'm not mistaken. Quality.

what about merch fergal? any decent swag? Aye, I was gutted personally cos I only had about 7 quid on me or sumat like that by the end and you could buy Its A Buffalo's album for a tenner, due for nationwide release in early 2009 I think, but aye, gutted I missed out on that. On the t-shirt front it was the now traditional "can you play guitar" t shirts, a "Liam&Campbell&Conan&Cupello" one (not dissimilar to our old forum t shirt  ) and a few plain Courteeners ones. Perhaps a St Jude t shirt actually, I think. A fallowfield hillbilly scarf and all. Decent selection |
