Liam Fray Acoustic Set in the garret last night

Yeah,

my mate does a little club night in the Garret once a month called BUSK, he told me the other day that Liam Fray might be doing a short set. Me being me i sort of dismissed it as i thought it was unlikely, but as i was already out I thought i'd pop down on the off chance he was. ANYWAY Fray did a set of about 7-8 songs; a mixture of covers, old and new tunes. The new songs sounded really good. Not sure what the covers were though? I know he did an Elbow tune from Seldom scene kid (tell you 2moro what it was i'm TOO PIST). one of the new songs had the lyric 'i swear down.....' cant remember exactely what it was, but sounded good. Ive got some really shite photos. Had a chat with Liam for a few mins before he went on, proper sound. Buzzing as he recognised me aswell showing off to my mate. gonna go bed now, got work tomorrow ;D

Liam is fantastic in his accoustic sets. Would love to see him do another. I am really interested to know what elbow song he pulled out. If anyone knows can they post please. I have been hunting youtube but not found anything. I am yet to here a good Elbow cover in all honesty. Hopefully he pulls it out of the bag.
