elbow - grounds for the divorce and a day like this Uuuum, you do seem to have little education, fist Yeah Yeah Yeahs and now Elbow? I've only heard 'seldom seen kid' but I hold it in my highest regards, particularly 'On A Day Like This', that is a phenomenal track, but a shit band I think not. Though we are all entitled to our say I suppose :/ |

nah the enemy have some good tunes, i should be bais cos i love the courteeners but no theyre\ an alright bandddd to be fair and i have to agree with sean i dont like elbow either, and ive tried to listen to there album many times. but yeahyeahyeah's are top so disagree with you on that one

I've got all 4 YYY albums on torrent, only listened to 'It's Blitz' properly, but it's very good stuff, though I can understand that they aren't easy to get into. But I really thought that Guy Garveys lyrics could make anyone an Elbow fan, he's a genius.

elbow can be a abit sluggish to get into i think. theyre pretty nishe and alot of really slow ones. i love it personally but yeah theres a reason theyve been so good but still bubbling under (pre mercury)

Apart form having one of the best lyricists in modern music displaying amazing word play and imagary, they make beautiful music as well. People listen to hear say. Its like people who say Radiohead are depressing. have a listen for yourself. Sean, you say you have all of their offerings. Listen to the albums backwards. 'Leaders of the free world' is a top album. lmao i wondered when you would turn up ben! they are pretty hard to get into but when you do you love it!
plus, radiohead are in my top 3 bands, but ok computer and the bends can be pretty depressing
